(mah-huh-RAHSH-truh) – In the state of Maharashtra, India, more than 80 people die every hour — the vast majority without ever hearing the gospel. Samuel, a young pastor, and his wife, Aashini, are a local couple who long for all of Maharashtra’s 128 million residents to have an opportunity to hear the good news about Jesus. The task is far too great for them alone! Pray that the Lord will give them abundant opportunities and favor with other networks of believers so they can train more people to share the gospel, make disciples, and plant churches. Pray that just as the Lord miraculously used Paul and his team and their many disciples to allow “all the residents of Asia” to hear the Word (Acts 19:10 ESV), He will work mightily through this couple and all the believers of Maharashtra so that all the residents of Maharashtra may also hear about Him!
