A local believer, Mr. Tom, and his family live in a village of approximately 1,000 houses. He, along with other believers, is planning on planting a church on his property so that the people in his village can come to know Jesus as their Savior and have a place to grow in their faith. Mr. Tom is currently building a house on the property, and jealous villagers are writing “curses” on small slips of paper and dropping them in his yard. He knows that these curses have no power and cannot stand against the power of Jesus. Pray that this house and church will be built and that those who have tried to curse the construction will come to repentance and faith in the Savior.
