Peoples of the Islands of Lake Victoria, East Africa

“The ‘Farming God’s Way’ six-day class in Sigulu, Uganda, gave 210 fledgling farmers the information and skills that would be helpful for better practices and yields,” writes the Islands Team. “Farmers came from various island villages, the mainland, and as far away as Kenya to learn and to be more productive in growing their crops and yielding better produce. Most importantly, the gospel was shared throughout the village of Sigulu. Gospel seed was planted with a plan by the church to disciple those new in the faith. Join the church in praying for a harvest in the hearts and lives of those who heard. There were nine public professions of faith in Jesus Christ. This is the emphasis of our efforts: True gain and true yield produces changed lives profitable to God.”
