At the end of every August, hundreds of Persians in Canada are engaged with the gospel of Jesus through a back-to-school outreach event. Numerous churches come together to put on a large carnival, complete with games, prizes, cotton candy, popcorn, and even a gigantic soap bubble pit. It is a blast for all involved! Each child is also provided a backpack full of school supplies as well as a children’s Bible. This event is often the first encounter that many Persians new-to-Canada will have with the love of Christ through the Church. Please pray for the Lord to begin a good work in the life of many Persian families through this event that will yield fruit for His kingdom this coming school year.
