Please pray for the Port Elizabeth Team, which consists of one missionary family, Helmer and Shannon Jensen. The Jensens write: “We work alongside African partners to spread the gospel and make reproducing disciples. Twice a month, we have planned street evangelism outreaches with one of our partnering churches, sharing about the hope that Jesus has given. We are active in the pastors’ fraternal organization, the Eastern Province Baptist Network, which meets quarterly to equip, encourage, and leverage our giftings. We are members of a local church but also work with other evangelical churches to teach, train, and work together in the missionary task. Shannon works with women’s Bible studies, university student Bible studies, and children’s programs, and Helmer has begun working with a ministry through our church that helps the unemployed find work and equips them to be about the missionary task in the workplace.”
