(pri-TOR-ee-uh) – “We all love the story of the nativity. We sing songs about that ‘O Holy Night’ of His birth. But have you ever wondered what life was like for that little family the next month? As she washed out cloth diapers, tended to her own aching body, and navigated her hormones, the holiness of the situation might have escaped Mary. Last month, you prayed for Baby Talitha and her parents. Shortly after her birth in early October, Talitha was hospitalized in a government hospital for an infection. The Lord answered your prayers and healed Talitha. Thank you, Jesus! However, we have just received news that Talitha picked up a fungal infection while in the hospital. Another hospital stay is looming on the horizon if they can’t get the infection under control. Please pray: ‘Father God, You’ve done it once — please do it again! Please heal Talitha’s little body! We speak the name of Jesus over her. As Talitha’s mommy stumbles through a postpartum haze, as she struggles to care for her infant and her other three young daughters, as her body heals from a C-section, help Talitha’s mommy know that she is in Your hands. In Jesus’ name we pray, amen.'”
