Throughout May and June, several young adult believers sowed hundreds of gospel seeds throughout Sri Lanka’s capital city of Colombo. Buddhists, Muslims, and Hindus heard His story, but many were not interested in learning more about Jesus. Please pray that the Father will continue to work in the lives of those precious people who heard the gospel, drawing them to Himself! Pray that He will prompt them to pick up a Bible and read it or reach out to a believing friend. Pray that just as He did for Lydia in the Book of Acts, the Lord will open their hearts to pay attention to the life-saving, life-transforming gospel message. “One who heard us was a woman named Lydia, from the city of Thyatira, a seller of purple goods, who was a worshiper of God. The Lord opened her heart to pay attention to what was said by Paul” (Acts 16:14 ESV). Pray for believers throughout Colombo not to grow weary in sharing His story, but patiently abide in the Lord, obey Him, and trust Him to bring the harvest.
