Cape Town Baptist Seminary does not approach each year as if it’s the same as previous years. Its faculty, staff members, and students ask God to guide them anew. The guiding theme for 2026 is “Rooted in Truth, Reaching in Love.” Rooted in truth refers to being biblically sound and “rightly handling the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15 ESV). It includes the need for academic excellence and critical thinking amid the changing ideologies of the outside world. “Reaching in love involves the application of biblical truth in which students are encouraged to extend grace to others on campus and seek to serve those in the communities around them. Pray for the faculty, staff, and students to share God’s Word with truth and to reach Cape Town and the surrounding areas with love. Ask God to send His blessings to each person with whom they interact.
