“Please pray for three rural leadership development conferences taking place this June across Malawi. Three teams will travel to hard-to-reach areas, partnering with Baptist Convention of Malawi home missionaries to train lay leaders serving in local churches. Pray for safe travel, strong unity, and effective coordination with those already ministering in these communities. Ask the Lord to bless the healthy church and evangelism trainings so that they are clear, practical, and Christ centered. Intercede for those taking systematic theology courses, asking that they will grow in understanding, confidence, and love for Scripture and also become faithful trainers of others. Lift up each leader attending, asking that they will be encouraged and strengthened to shepherd others well and reach their communities with the gospel. “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth” (2 Timothy 2:15 ESV).
