“Please pray for the upcoming six-week session of the distance theological education program under the Baptist College of Malawi and the Baptist Convention of Malawi, beginning this April,” writes the Malawi Team. “Our International Mission Board colleagues have been invited to help teach several of the classes. Each session will be attended by 6-10 Malawian pastors who are already faithfully serving their churches and eager to deepen their theological understanding so they can better lead their congregations. Pray for sound, biblical teaching from all instructors; successful learning and spiritual growth for every pastor attending; wisdom, clarity, and strength for these men as they balance ministry responsibilities with their studies; and for this session to further strengthen local churches throughout Malawi. ‘He must hold firm to the trustworthy word as taught, so that he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to rebuke those who contradict it’ (Titus 1:9 ESV).”
