The Uganda Baptist Seminary Team writes: “We are thankful to hear reports of ministry and of God sustaining people around East Africa through the students who come each month to Uganda Baptist Seminary. It is amazing to hear about faithful church leaders across the region. Please pray for their families, as many of them are in very challenging environments and the stress on family health is significant. One recent student asked for prayer, as she has been presented with a ministry job opportunity that takes biblical training to a remote place and also provides income for her family. However, it requires her to be away from her husband and four children most of the time. Job opportunities are very scarce in the region, with estimates of 50% unemployment for East Africans under age 35. Pray for God to strengthen marriages and relationships with children among the church leaders. Pray for His Word to speak deeply to both encourage and guide.”
