The Islamic month of Ramadan is a time of great difficulty in one desert land. It falls during the hottest and dryest part of the year. People don’t have electric power, the economy is bad, and jobs are scarce. It is especially hard for women, who still are expected to take care of the children, feed them, and make the meal for the breaking of the fast each evening. Pray that this Ramadan, people who are truly seeking God will find Him. Ask that they will realize that they can never earn enough merit to save themselves and that they will cry out for God to save them. Pray that those who have been hearing His Word will be cut to the quick and will give themselves to Him.
