Not too long ago, Hannah was a single, teenage mom living in someone else’s home and struggling to provide for herself and her daughter. Today, she is married, expecting her second child, and is a wise businesswoman. She now owns two coffee shops and employs several workers. One of those shops isn’t far from where some believers live. They go to the coffee shop regularly and have become friends with Hannah and her husband. The believers have invited Hannah and her family into their home, have had opportunities to visit in Hannah’s home, and have begun to share God’s love with her family. While her living situation has improved dramatically, her life still lacks what is most important: She doesn’t have a personal relationship with Jesus. Pray that she won’t find peace in the comforts of this world, but instead will want something more. Pray for believers to have opportunities to share the gospel with Hannah, her family, and the staff at her coffee shop. “As for the rich in this present age, charge them not to be haughty, nor to set their hopes on the uncertainty of riches, but on God, who richly provides us with everything to enjoy” (1 Timothy 6:17 ESV).
