(HAH-doh-tee) - Bundi is a district with a population of 1,225,097 in the Hadothi region of southeastern Rajasthan, India. The district is home to a majority population of Hindus. Please pray that the Lord will be at work through the witness of believers already there and also send more harvest laborers to the region. Pray specifically that the people of that district will have an opportunity to hear and receive the gospel with joy so that God's kingdom may abound in that place.

"The little house church on Monkey Hill had lots of turmoil -- arguments between believers, threats of divorce, fist fights over benches, and more. Our team struggled to keep serving them along with the other churches we were serving. Then God led a local ministry partner to dedicate extra time to serve this church. By His grace, God is healing and unifying this little church. On Easter Sunday, they baptized the second new believer this year. Pray that this young believer will follow the Lord passionately and that the other members of the church will act biblically toward one another. Pray for boldness as they continue to share with their community about the love of Jesus."

The Matzu (goddess of the sea) parades continue in Taiwan's central west coast through May 18. Over 100,00 pilgrims travel between north Taichung County through LuKang, where the largest Matzu temple is, then venture southward to Beigang, home to Taiwan's oldest Matzu temple. The walking pilgrimage is over 200 miles round trip of visiting about a dozen century-old temples, carrying Matzu idols to spread her blessings, and paying offerings throughout the entire trip. Participants go into trances and are possessed by various spirits. Pray for Christians and churches along the way to clearly share the full gospel with these pilgrims who are lost and bound in darkness. These people who look to Matzu and other gods for hope, light, and truth only find more darkness. Pray for their hearts to believe and positively respond to the truth of Christ. Pray for spiritual awakening in central Taiwan. Pray that Buddhists will hunger for godliness and intimacy with the Creator God rather than man-made gods. Pray that people who are seeking truth will surrender their lives to Jesus, and those who hear the gospel will turn from Matzu and other gods to the truth and light of Christ. Pray against any cultural and spiritual barriers that stand in the way of their freedom in Christ.

Pray for the Muslims of Nepal. Ask the Lord to raise up more laborers for the harvest. May He open Muslim hearts so they can know the true Christ and put their faith in Him.

(ny-ROH-bee) - On Good Friday, five churches came together in Nairobi South for the sake of the gospel. The pastor of a Baptist church needed workers for the harvest (Luke 10:2). He contacted his brethren and invited their churches to pray, to prepare, and to go to this community for gospel seed sowing. More than 35 brothers and sisters in Christ responded to this request. Upon arrival at his church in Rongai, they worshiped, heard the Word of God, and were sent out in teams. As they went into the community armed with Word of God and powered by the Holy Spirit to bring the good news to the lost, they found that God had prepared this field for harvest. In two hours, 71 people heard the gospel of Jesus Christ and 31 names were written in the Book of Life. To God be the glory for the harvest He prepared on Good Friday! Please pray for more pastors and churches to come together to evangelize, pray, and sow the seeds of the gospel for His glory.

Workers ask: "Please pray for a woman in our church who is struggling in her walk with the Lord. She is letting different life circumstances get in the way of her obedience to the Lord. Pray that she will recognize this and come back to Him."

(LOH-zee) - The work of Zambian believers in the Western Province of Zambia who desire for more Lozi to hear the gospel of Jesus continues but needs encouragement. Please pray for these men and women who are leading the work in the west.

The Asia-Pacific Rim is no stranger to natural disasters. From Japan to Indonesia, earthquakes, tsunamis, and typhoons are frequent visitors. For the 2.3 million who live throughout these nations, very few know Jehovah God. He is not their refuge and strength, and when they are in trouble, they do not turn to Him. Thus, when the earth gives way and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea, when the waters roar and foam and the mountains quake, they fear. Will you pray for them to be still and know that He is God (Psalm 46)?

While the influential intellectual Afghan doesn't want to join the near-culture church due to a lack of trust, he's willing to meet for Bible study with the older man who is currently studying the Word with a believer. Pray that the older man will also be open to the three of them getting in the Word and exploring the way of Jesus together. This is a big ask of the King, but could lead to the initial seeds of a church being planted!

(AH-far) - "My name is Hamaama. I first saw a film about Jesus when I went to a friend's house. She had downloaded it from the internet. We watched it together and were both excited about the things we saw and learned. I had many questions. Another friend of mine had seen the film several times. I watched it with her, frequently stopping the film to ask questions. She was not a believer but had seen the film so many times that she could explain difficult parts. Eventually, I found another woman who was a follower of Jesus, and she shared the gospel clearly with me. At that point, I, too, became a believer." Pray for other urban Afar women to access the gospel through media on the internet and their network of friends. Ask God to help believing women to be available to answer any questions related to media in which the gospel is clearly shared. "Oil and perfume make the heart glad, and the sweetness of a friend comes from his earnest counsel" (Proverbs 27:9 ESV).

(ab-i-JAHN) - Pray for wisdom, strength, and endurance from the Lord for a volunteer team that will be serving in Abidjan this month. Ask the Lord to work in the hearts of those whom they will speak to about the gospel. Pray for the translators as they translate the volunteer team's English into French, the official language of Cote d'Ivoire. Pray that Ivorian pastors who will attend the two-day conference that these volunteers will help put on will be edified and refreshed, and ask that they will put into practice the truths from Scripture that they learn during the conference.
