Eight-year-old Benny illustrates missionary life

Benny is eight years old and lives with his missionary family in Sub-Saharan Africa. At school, Benny was given an assignment to tell about his community. His IMB family came to mind and he drew this picture of a Christian telling a Muslim about God. A missionary friend wrote, “I love that his first thought of his community is his mission family (IMB) ministering. The younger generation is watching their parents and teammates and learning how to be an obedient disciple of Jesus Christ.”

Every prayer you bring to the Father on behalf of missionaries affects children like Benny. Every dollar you give to the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering® supports the current work and the future generations of missionaries who will sacrifice so that all people will know the gospel. Every child you take time to nurture today can grow in their faith and understand their place in missions–at age 8 or 88.
