God is moving powerfully as Africans step up to plant churches among the Kwangali. One pastor recently planted two churches, showing how the gospel is advancing in his community. Still, the Kwangali people face deep struggles: poverty, the influence of witchcraft, and rejection from nearby churches that see the new churches as rivals. Many Kwangali are lost and stuck in lies and shame tied to their poverty and cultural traditions. Yet many are searching for truth and finding freedom in Jesus.
“All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.” (2 Timothy 3:16)
