IMB missionaries in Sub-Saharan Africa have a goal to engage 55 unengaged, unreached people groups with the gospel by the year 2025.

Among these groups, which are the largest unengaged and unreached in Sub-Saharan Africa, there are few or no Christians or churches. The gospel will not spread among the groups naturally – outside help is needed. The IMB is calling on churches in the United States and around the world to pray for, and eventually to help engage, these 55 people groups.

The resources on this page will help you learn more about these people groups. Please pray for these groups using the prayer requests included on the resources, and share the prayer requests with others. There are even special resources to help children learn about, and pray for, the unreached peoples of Africa.
