NT: A Light Among the Golden Triangle (2027)

Description

Join fellow workers in reaching an unreached animistic people group who reside in the Golden Triangle. As we reach these people, the goal of our team is to raise up leaders in every church. Our prayer is these leaders are emboldened to go and share the Good News with their people and raise up disciples. In joining this work, be prepared to camp alongside national partners in the mountains, help prepare items to sell in the market, plant produce and take care of chickens, organize office work, serve cleft palate patients and their families, teach English and play games with children, and bring the light into the darkness with a heart of flexibility and love. Are you ready to join our team in sharing the Good News and raising up disciples as we seek the fulfill the great commission? The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few!

Your first stop will be a joint orientation with other Nehemiah Teams at the Nehemiah Teams Training Center in Mentone, Alabama. Learning the skills needed to carry out your assignment as well as team building will fill these first few days. Your team will fly to your final destination for the summer. Following your summer of ministry, you will return to the US for a joint debrief… sharing all God has done over the summer. Participants must commit to the entire program from orientation through the end of debrief.

Other Requirements

Nehemiah Teams – An 8 week summer opportunity for students over the age of 18. Nehemiah Teams train prior to service in Alabama and return to Alabama at the end of the summer for debriefing.
