In Memory of Sheila Walker

On Saturday morning, December 2, Sheila Rester Walker went home to be with her Savior and Lord, Jesus Christ. Thank you for your outpouring of prayer, condolences, and love to our family during this time of grieving with hope. Sheila had a vibrant relationship with Jesus and proclaimed his love in word and deed at every opportunity. One of her desires was to help as many people as possible know how to have the same relationship with Jesus that she had.

In lieu of flowers, the Walker family requests that you make a contribution to the IMB as they seek to train African believers to take the Good News of Jesus Christ to the ends of the earth. Your memorial gift to this IMB project will help provide resources for this missionary training to be facilitated in Nairobi, Kenya – where her youngest daughter, Karen, and her family serve. Thank you for your support to this project to continue to multiply Sheila’s gospel legacy.

The visitation and Celebration of Life service will be held on Monday, December 18, at the First Baptist Church of Plant City (3309 James L Redman Pkwy, Plant City, FL 33566).

Public Visitation - 4 - 5 p.m.
Celebration of Life Service - 5 - 6 p.m.
