This past year God has opened my eyes and softened my heart to the world of missions and God’s call on our lives to PRAY GIVE GO!! We are ALL called to be missionaries because we were ALL given the same mission when Jesus gave us the Great Commission in Matthew 28. All of us are called to share the Gospel with those here at home, those we see everyday (and that work needs to continue to happen), but we can all help with the mission to bring the Gospel overseas to those who don’t know the name of Jesus! THATS WHY this year I want to run for missions!!! I love to run and it’s something I can do to help with missions overseas. But I need your help!! This campaign from the International Mission Board is called “Bible Fund for South Asian Muslims” and it is specifically raising funds to print and distribute Bibles and Gospel resources to Islamic communities in South Asia. South Asia is the birthplace of four world religions but is also home to the world's highest concentration of lostness. The 1.6 billion people of South Asia are concentrated in an area less than half the size of the USA. Muslims and Hindus comprise the overwhelming religious majority. Every week 225,000 South Asians die, most without Christ. Yet there are glimmers of gospel hope. Through the work of local Christians and foreign workers God is bringing South Asians to faith in Jesus, the church is growing, and stories of Christ’s redeeming power are emerging from the field. More than a billion South Asian eyes are searching for hope. WE CAN HELP BRING THE GOSPEL TO THEM!!!

God is sovereign over the Muslims of South Asia. He desires for Muslims to hear and accept the gospel. Knowing that God uses all His people to accomplish His good purposes in the world, this project will work in partnership with the local church to evangelize and distribute these resources towards planting churches among South Asian Muslims. These Bible resources include full Bibles, New Testaments, individually printed books of the Bible, and tracts. The materials will be printed in large single batches and stored locally to reduce costs. To ensure the safety and stewardship of these resources, a trusted local partner will coordinate the storage, distribution, training and follow-up for this ministry. Local believers and long-term workers will use all materials on the front lines of the gospel advance among Muslims.
