About This Project
The Bangkla Baptist Clinic serves as the hub for evangelism efforts that branch out from Central Thailand to the entire country. The clinic’s Thai staff (30 in all) aid in evangelism and church planting efforts that have resulted in people coming to faith and new churches started in every corner of Thailand.
Unfortunately, the COVID-19 pandemic has severely drained the clinic’s finances so that resources are at their lowest, just as new needs are flooding in. Your gift will meet the urgent needs facing us right now, including the purchase of a new blood chemistry analyzer for the lab. Funds will also provide housing for four Thai staff members.
When Thai families come to the clinic for physical healing, your support enables the clinic staff to meet those needs and also offer spiritual healing through Christ. Your partnership through prayer and giving will fortify our outreach at a time when so many are coming to the clinic seeking help and hope. Give today!
Why direct giving matters
Giving directly to a missionary team helps fund the specific, on-the-ground needs your missionaries care deeply about—needs that aren't covered by CP and LMCO alone.
Beam*, Hansa*, and Nan* are three young women studying nursing and medical technology, so that they can join the ministry of Bangkla Baptist Clinic upon graduation.
All three are from broken homes, and none have lived with their parents for years.
Beam and Hansa both travel home each weekend to help with a church plant in their hometown by serving on the worship team at the new church.
Nan lived with grandparents in a different area until they died several years ago. Now, she uses the single-room home they left her to host a church plant of over 60.
Your generosity helps provide scholarships for these deserving young people, who would be unable to attend university without help from God’s people.
These three students are following God’s call on their lives. Like you, they want to live obediently and see others find hope and salvation.
Thank you for helping our team meet the physical and spiritual needs in Central Thailand.

Thank you for partnering with our team to help Christians like Chaundra share Jesus with their lost friends and neighbors. God is at work here in South Asia!

Dara’s* decision to accept Christ as a junior in high school was life-changing. Without a father in her life, she desperately wanted her mother’s approval to be baptized, but Dara’s mother vehemently refused. Dara finished high school and arrived at Bangkla Baptist Clinic to attend nursing school without resources, but your gifts and local believers joined together to provide for her needs. Seeing Christians care for her daughter convinced Dara’s mother to allow her to be baptized and is softening her heart to the gospel.
Because of your generosity, Dara attends nursing school and volunteers at Bangkla Baptist Clinic anytime she can, radiating the love and joy of Christ to others. When she graduates, she will join our staff and live in a townhome for clinic personnel made possible by your giving. You are an integral part of Dara’s life journey, and we thank you for being an active part of her testimony!

Thank you for your incredible generosity to the Bangkla Baptist Clinic Medical Evangelism Ministry which continues to advance the gospel throughout Thailand. It’s our joy to share that 18 devoted Christ followers are now gathering in worship in the town of Baan Pho, marking the inception of a brand-new church plant. This church is the first in this location, thanks to your giving. Praise be to God!
Amara, a high school student in Baan Pho, recently attended one of our church services. In a candid conversation, our team asked about her hesitation in following Jesus, to which she expressed her fear of losing friends and facing disapproval.
After the service, a team member approached her once again, and Amara exclaimed, “I’m ready!” Together, we sat with her as she confessed her sins before God and committed her life to Him. We were overjoyed!
When questioned about the profound change within a few hours, Amara shared, “When you asked me what was keeping me from God, I provided an answer, but even as I spoke, I realized that nothing should keep me from God.”
Amara’s journey is a testament to the impact of your generosity.
Reaching the Community Through Your Support
Along with the Baan Pho church plant, opportunities to share the gospel continue to grow at the medical clinic because of your generosity.
Here’s how your gifts are actively at work by supporting our clinic staff:
We remain deeply grateful for your support of the medical work that has played a pivotal role in bringing the gospel to Thailand. Your generosity continues to be a beacon of hope and transformation in the lives of individuals like Amara, and we extend our sincere thanks!
Thank you so much for your generosity to this ministry and the Thai people God calls us to reach with the gospel. Your prayers and sacrificial giving empower evangelism and church planting efforts that have resulted in people coming to faith and new churches starting in every corner of Thailand, as together we meet the physical and spiritual needs of families who come to the clinic. We are so grateful for all who have joined us in the ministry of Bangkla Baptist Clinic to see the Lord made known and His name glorified in communities across Thailand.
Mobile Clinics Meet Needs. Due to COVID, our mobile clinic ministry has been dormant for the last three years. This summer, a medical team from the U.S. joined our clinic staff, and we carried out mobile clinics across central and northern Thailand. We were overjoyed with the result. Because of our partnership with you, we shared the gospel with hundreds of people throughout the week of clinics!
Years of Preparation Result in Salvations. Our clinic staff has continued efforts to plant a church in a city of 80,000 with no church of any kind. After years of planning and soil preparation, we began holding worship services recently. When we started the work, there were no believers in the city. Praise God! This last month 18 gathered for worship, and we baptized three in what certainly must be the first baptism in this city’s history!
Thank you for your generosity and prayers. Your sacrificial gifts and intercession are truly transforming lives as we partner together to solve the world’s greatest problem, lostness.
A story from one of our clinicians:
“53-year-old man came in to see me with chest pain. while he was in the clinic he collapsed. The nurses did CPR and we did emergency procedures. He came back to consciousness and eventually his vitals normalized. I sat beside him for a while as we waited for the ambulance to come from the hospital. I asked him “How are you doing?” and he began to sob. He said, “As soon as I get out of the hospital, I’m gonna come back here, and I’m going to come to you and pray to make Jesus my Lord.” I said “Why would you wait?” He nodded his head and began to pray out loud, “Jesus, please take away my sins and make me pure, and I will be yours from this day on.” Afterwards, I prayed for him, and then we talked some more. I asked him “When did you start to become interested in God’s story?” and he pointed to the floor to the place where he had just collapsed and said, “Right there.” “Before that, I had never been interested in this at all. But when I collapsed, I heard God call my name three times. I knew he was warning me.” We’ve been talking with him every day since then and he continues to be excited about his new faith in Jesus and how Jesus saved both his life and his soul on the same day.”
In the next five years, a globalization goal of all IMB workers is to mobilize 500 local believers to become global missionary partners serving on IMB teams.
