An evangelism team is needed in the Philippines! Cross land and sea to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ in villages where many people have had little opportunity to hear and understand biblical truth. Work alongside local believers to share God’s Word with people who may have never owned a Bible or studied it for themselves. You’ll gain hands-on experience in evangelism, discipleship, and cross-cultural ministry while serving alongside Filipino believers who are passionate about reaching their communities.
Live out of your bag, wash clothes by hand, and sleep wherever a door is opened. With the goal of making disciples and helping establish thriving local churches, you will be part of a greater team effort to reach less-accessible communities by motorbike, tricycle, boat, or on foot.
Your first stop will be a joint orientation with other Nehemiah Teams, where you’ll receive practical training and build relationships with fellow team members before deploying to the field. Following your ministry time, you will return to Alabama for a joint debrief and the opportunity to share what God has done throughout the summer. Participants must commit to the entire program from orientation through debrief.
Nehemiah Teams – An 8 week summer opportunity for students over the age of 18. Nehemiah Teams train prior to service in Alabama and return to Alabama at the end of the summer for debriefing.
