NT: Manila University Ministry

Description

With 300+ universities & over 700,000 students in Metro Manila, statistics indicate over 600,000 of them don’t have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Be immersed in university ministry, actively sharing the gospel both on & off campus. Through evangelism, discipleship, and intentional friendship-building, you will have opportunity to reach students for Christ, nurture their spiritual growth, and develop a deeper passion for serving God and fulfilling the Great Commission. Experience the incredible hospitality of the Filipino people while serving alongside the local church with a strong focus on university ministry. Team will be directly supervised by a national pastor.

Your first stop will be a joint orientation with other Nehemiah Teams at the Nehemiah Teams Training Center in Mentone, Alabama. Learning the skills needed to carry out your assignment as well as team building will fill these first few days. Your team will fly to your final destination for the summer. Following your summer of ministry, you will return to the US for a joint debrief… sharing all God has done over the summer. Participants must commit to the entire program from orientation through the end of debrief.

Other Requirements

Nehemiah Teams – An 8 week summer opportunity for students over the age of 18. Nehemiah Teams train prior to service in Alabama and return to Alabama at the end of the summer for debriefing.
