Residency: Homeschool Co-Op Teacher

Come serve alongside our CP Team as we serve an unreached people group in Central Asia! Our team currently has more than a dozen TCKs! On top of that, we have partnered with other expat families to create a Homeschool Co-Op that currently serves a total 26 TCKs from our team and other likeminded organizations from around the world.

The goal of the Co-Op is to give our TCKs the best possible environment for their education and social development while simultaneously freeing up the parents to maximize their effectiveness in ministry. We already have a Journeyman serving as one of the teachers at the Co-Op in addition to some hired local help, but we are anxious to add your skills and abilities to the team.

Other Requirements

Residency – An opportunity to serve on mission for one or two semesters while being mentored by an IMB field missionary. Residents are trained together with their cohort at orientation before deploying to their place of service. Residents then return all together for debrief at the end of their term. Application deadlines: Fall Residency trips: deadline to apply is May 1. Spring Residency trips: deadline to apply is October 1. For active members of Southern Baptist churches, travel to/from Orientation/Debrief, lodging and food during orientation/debrief, travel to/from the field, and emergency insurance is covered. All monies raised or donated in excess of the stated cost of this particular Residency trip will be used to offset travel-related costs and may also be used to supplement the broader cost of ministry related to the Residency program, in general.
