NT365 is an IMB gap-year in Asia Pacific Rim for high school graduates, age 18-23. NT365 is designed to help you find God’s purpose, understand more of God’s world, and find your role in finishing the Great Commission in this generation. Following your pre-field training at the International Learning Center (Richmond, VA), you will travel to the Philippines to begin Nehemiah Team’s 3-month Advance Operations Training (AOT). Your training will include Americans & other students from across Asia & the South Pacific Islands.
After this initial phase of training, you will spend the next two months on two different deployments in potentially two Asia Pacific countries. During the Spring semester you will fill a Mission Residency assignment in yet another Asia Pacific country. Join Nehemiah Teams in witnessing to those who have never heard the Good News of Jesus Christ!
Your assignment will begin with a pre-field training conducted by IMB staff & field workers at the IMB’s International Leaning Center in Richmond, Virginia. At the end of your term, you will return for a time of debrief before returning home.
Residency – An opportunity to serve on mission for one or two semesters while being mentored by an IMB field missionary. Residents are trained together with their cohort at orientation before deploying to their place of service. Residents then return all together for debrief at the end of their term. Application deadlines: Fall Residency trips: deadline to apply is May 1. Spring Residency trips: deadline to apply is October 1. For active members of Southern Baptist churches, travel to/from Orientation/Debrief, lodging and food during orientation/debrief, travel to/from the field, and emergency insurance is covered. All monies raised or donated in excess of the stated cost of this particular Residency trip will be used to offset travel-related costs and may also be used to supplement the broader cost of ministry related to the Residency program, in general.
