Kids play football in the streets of a small neighborhood in Konya, Turkey. Once known as Iconium, Konya is historically and religiously significant for many reasons. It was one of the missionary destinations of the Apostle Paul, the site of one of the first church councils, the capital of the Seljuk Empire from 1150 to 1300 and is the home of the Sufi Muslim saint who founded the whirling dervishes.
