The Fire Festival, celebrated annually by the Nosu people in southwest China, involves several thousand people gathering on a mountainside arena to spectate and participate in events that include wrestling, bull fighting, horse racing and a model competition. The festival is concluded at night by dancing around a fire to music.

The Nosu are an ethnic minority who reside in northern Yunnan and southern Sichuan provinces of southwestern China.
