Throughout Jesus’s earthly ministry, he was doubted. Is he who he says he is? Can he do what he says he can? Yet through the doubt, Jesus commissioned his followers for a task that would require a boundless faith and spiritual strength. They embraced costly discipleship and ventured beyond the limits of their personal abilities for the gospel.

We have also been commissioned into that task: to proclaim Christ’s gospel to those who have not heard. The spiritual power that enables us to do so, even in the darkest places, is limitless. The opportunities before the church are limitless. Our God is limitless. By his power, we, too, can be a part of limitless.
