Overview

Field Support Missionaries are fully-funded IMB employees whose primary responsibility is to provide vital support services for IMB and its missionary teams. Field Support Missionaries engage in the Missionary Task both through their specialized work and as active members of local missionary teams. With a 2–4 year term and the potential to extend, this pathway offers a unique opportunity to use your professional skills to directly enable gospel work around the world.

What You’ll Do

  • Provide specialized support services to IMB and missionary teams in areas such as finance, member care, medical consulting, logistics, communications, and design
  • Serve alongside a local missionary team and engage in the Missionary Task as you are able
  • Help enable long-term missionaries to stay focused on evangelism, discipleship, and church planting
  • Support the wellbeing, operations, and effectiveness of missionaries serving on the field
  • Assist with education consulting for missionary kids and families

Give your first years of retirement to the nations. Masters 55+ is a fully funded pathway for adults 55 and older to serve on IMB church planting teams, bringing a lifetime of skills and experience to the mission field.
