We are a team of story tellers and church planters with ever-growing partnership between us and the Karamojong believers. The Lord has called us here to provide a way for every Karamojong person to have access to a healthy, reproducible church to grow them into mature believers.

There are few churches in Karamoja, where the Karamojong live, and the majority of them are Catholic or have an animistic background. In the most remote villages where we work, witchcraft and animistic practices use fear and darkness to deceive people.
You can help change that dark reality.
Your generosity will provide workshops to train believers in faithful biblical leadership in current churches and and churches plants. Alongside leadership training, you can help us provide additional opportunities for men and women in theological education, evangelism, and discipleship.
In addition, your support will help establish outreach ministry in Karamojong communities, including
Multiple new medical clinics
Malnutrition rehabilitation centers (a significant problem in our area)
Trauma healing stations
A youth/ community outreach center
A mental health counseling center
A literacy program, among
These ministry projects address the overwhelming number of physical needs among our people group and open doors to share the love and provision of Christ. Building these new clinics and meeting the physical needs gives us access to new villages so that we can share the gospel and eventually plant
churches!

Scholarship for Pastor’s Theological Education
This project enables Karamojong pastors to attend seminary and obtain a theology degree. Theological education is a significant part of our ministry strategy. Your gift will enable us to scholarship ten pastors to a Baptist seminary in Uganda.
Rural Village Outreach
We have several national believers who are eager to take the good news to hard-to-access villages, but they don't have the resources to get to these out-of-the-way places. Without a means of transportation, we struggle to gain access to these communities and follow up with evangelism and discipleship. English language Teaching and Literacy Project
We are starting a set of classes for our Karamojong people who fall into a range of English proficiency. We have classes for non-literate English speakers at beginner, intermediate, and advanced levels. Your gift will enable us to teach the Karamojong how to speak and understand English as well as how to read and write it, all while building relationships and seeking opportunities to share the goo
Theological Education by Extension
In the past, our team has partnered with a Theological Education by Extension program to offer theology books and lessons to Karamojong pastors and leaders. Your gift will hep us expand the reach of this program so that many more leaders will have access to theological education.
Karamojong Missionaries
One of our main goals as missionaries in this area is to equip and encourage Karamojong believers to go out and share the good news in other places. We want to show them the urgent need to share the gospel in places where people have never heard it before. Your gift to this project will help local churches to send two missionaries of their own each year.
Solar Audio Bibles
Many of the Karamojong are not literate, but they still need access to the Word of God. These solar audio Bibles are perfect for the Karamojong. They are pre-loaded with the audio version of the Bible in the Karamojong language, and are recharged through solar power. $100 covers the cost and transportation of one solar audio Bible.
Expanding the Gospel’s Reach
As we share the gospel, disciple new believers, nurture churches, and develop leaders, we travel a lot. We want to ensure everyone has access to the good news and the training they need to play their part in building God’s kingdom. Recently, a worker on our team was hiking with several national partners when the group came across several people from the Ik people group.
As they began talking, she asked them what they knew about Jesus. It was quickly clear that they had never heard of Jesus or what He had done for them. Right there on the mountainside, she shared the good news with them for the very first time.
Before departing, she committed to visiting their village to continue building relationships with the Ik people.
Over the next few months, several Karamojong pastors and church leaders prayed for the Ik people, and a group of them traveled to the remote area with her.
These church leaders spent several nights among the Ik, sharing the gospel, telling Bible stories, and talking about new life in Christ.
One of these pastors came back from this trip with a deep burden for the Ik. Since then, his church has been taking a mission offering to send a Karamojong missionary to the Ik people.
What a beautiful people of the gospel, taking root and multiplying as one people group reaches out to share the gospel with another.

Godfrey* and Moses* are the first Karamojong pastors to receive theological training at Uganda Baptist Seminary.

Two Journeymen missionaries in Uganda and their local partner lead discipleship groups for young Karamojong girls. In July 2022, we prayed for these girls to be courageous ambassadors in their communities for God. Thank you for praying! During a recent school break, the groups shared Bible stories in Karamojong villages. One of the girls, 15-year-old Norma, noticed that some of the villagers were wearing witchcraft amulets. She stood before a group of 100 adults and testified about the power of Jesus over witchcraft. She encouraged them to stop wearing powerless amulets and turn to Jesus. Afterward, one woman did.
