Wrapped in rainforests, edged by golden sands and winding rivers, and crowned by volcanoes, the tropical beauty of Southeast Asia testifies to God’s creative hand. Rich in history, culture, and tradition, the countries of Southeast Asia step boldly towards the future with one foot planted firmly in the past. Spirituality swirls through cities and countryside like the smoke from temple incense sticks.
The 20,000 islands of Southeast Asia are home to 2,694 people groups and includes the world’s most populous Muslim country. The nations of Myanmar, Thailand, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, and Papua New Guinea are home to 638 unreached people groups comprised of Buddhists, Muslims, Hindus, and animists who have never heard that freedom is found in Christ.
Southeast Asians welcome spiritual conversations. Pray for divine appointments for Christian workers to share that Jesus is the way to peace with God and eternal life.
