About This Project
Churches working on their own struggle to train, support and deploy missionaries. One Sending Body will come alongside these churches, connecting them as a unified entity — one body – to enable efficient and effective sending of missionaries from the Philippines to fields around the world. Through this strategy the six Baptist conventions across the Philippines can now pool resources to vet, train, support and send called believers from within their churches.
Your gift will assist long-term workers to equip and mentor new Filipino missionaries, training them to engage other cultures with the gospel in practical-but-life-changing ways. The three-pronged initiative includes:
(1) Developing a deep, local passion for cross-cultural missions through the sending of local missionaries;
(2) Facilitating the development of processes through which local Filipino churches send new missionaries; and
(3) Providing on-going mentoring, training and consulting
