Encouraging Biblical Community Development

Thank you for sacrificially giving and faithfully interceding for Asia Pacific Rim peoples. Many church planters in this region work in remote villages with little or no financial support. Your gifts provide holistic ministry training, including education and assistance with planting sustainable vegetable gardens, developing pig farms, and training them in humanitarian projects to build relationships and share the gospel with unreached peoples.

God has done tremendous things in the last year through your generosity.

• Your gifts purchased and distributed 2000 mosquito traps in six villages, targeting mosquitoes carrying dengue fever and malaria and significantly impacting the health of residents. We presented the gospel while distributing the traps to local villagers.
• You provided five churches with blankets, jackets, and hats during the Christmas season.
• Your giving purchased and distributed 1000 backpacks with school supplies to children.
• You purchased supplies so our team could build two pig pens and five vegetable FAITH gardens for rural pastors. These improve their income, provide food for their families, and begin relationships with unreached peoples. Three of these now have house churches.
• Your gifts trained pastors and church members in harvest techniques and seed storage to maintain continuous crop growth in their gardens.
• You paid school tuition fees for a pastor’s daughter who has autism.*
• You donated 10 desks and chairs to a primary school here for autistic children.

• In 2024, we plan to train 20 new church members in FAITH gardening skills and set up two gardens in a community. Pray these gardens are bridges to reach the lost and communicate Christ.
• We are working to help a school for autistic children purchase a computer system that trains kids with autism to better control their behavior through neural feedback. Pray this endeavor honors God and provides opportunities to share the gospel with faculty and parents.

Greetings from the Planting FAITH project team! Thank you for your faithful praying and giving. God has done tremendous things in the last year through your support. Here is a snapshot.

1. Your gifts allowed us to purchase and distribute 1,500 mosquito traps in five different villages. The traps target mosquitoes that bear dengue fever and malaria, significantly impacting the health of those living nearby. The gospel was shared while distributing the traps.
2. Our team served 15 churches by donating blankets, jackets, and hats during the Christmas season last year.
3. We built two frog and fishponds for pastors to improve their income, provide food for their families, and build relationships with unreached peoples. We also built four vegetable gardens (we call them FAITH gardens) that accomplish the same goals.
4. Our team donated 1,000 rapid COVID test kits to a local medical clinic and two children’s homes.
5. We assisted with repairing a widow’s home who greatly needed help.
6. Finally, we provided school tuition fees* for a pastor’s daughter who has autism. (All schools here, public or private, require students to pay tuition, from primary through secondary.)

Praise God for each of these opportunities. The work is continuing into this Christmas season and into next year! In October (2022), we will be training 20 new church members in FAITH gardening skills and setting up two gardens in that community. In November and December 2022, 50 churches will be hosting over 100 Christmas parties and distributing blankets, jackets, hats, gloves, food, and the gospel to those in need in their communities.

In April and May 2023, we will distribute school backpacks and supplies in the same villages that hosted Christmas parties. In May and June, we will be distributing mosquito traps in several communities, and in October 2023, we will distribute first aid kits to every home in at least 50 villages.
