Global Senders Forum 2027

About This Project

To reach the “every and all,” Baptists and Great Commission partners worldwide must leverage what we share: the gospel we believe and our commitment to the Great Commission.

Global Baptists have grown exponentially and are very diverse. Many partners working with the IMB are beginning to respond to God’s call to go to the nations themselves, but a barrier still exists: They do not yet know each other. IMB President Paul Chitwood says that must change.

You can be that change agent.

Your gift to the Global Senders Forum will establish a network of global partners to send more missionaries to more places. You will help launch the network at this event for Baptists and Great Commission partners in November 2027.

The Global Senders Forum will connect partners from more than 70 nations, all committed to giving every person on earth the chance to encounter the good news of Jesus Christ. Together with these partners, we have access to all unreached people groups.

Dr. Chitwood describes the forum this way: “We’re not expanding the Southern Baptist Convention to make it international; we’re not re-creating the Baptist World Alliance. Those who join this network will do so for one reason: To work together to get the gospel to the every and the all: every nation on earth, all tribes, peoples, and languages.”

Your support of the launch event in November 2027 will unite strategy leaders from like-minded sending organizations worldwide and Baptistic churches overseas. The group will create a strategic plan to send missionaries to all parts of the world, prioritizing those places and peoples who have not yet heard the good news.

“I left the last meeting in 2024 encouraged and blessed as our partners committed to sending 1,100 missionaries over the next decade!” Dr. Chitwood said. Now is the time to continue to encourage that commitment and strategize together about how to reach the ‘every and all’ so no one is left without the good news of Christ.

Give today to the Global Senders Forum to ensure that all nations, tribes, peoples, and languages have the chance to hear the good news of Christ. Together with our brothers and sisters in Christ worldwide, we can send missionaries from every corner of the world to every last remaining outpost and enclave where Jesus’s name is not known.
