Arabia was one of the first places the gospel spread, but today, the Muslim call to prayer echoes through this tribal land. Over the centuries, Christians here have been persecuted and even martyred for faith in Jesus. Today, the Southern Arab tribesmen are keepers of tradition, clinging to their formerly nomadic lifestyle even as they trade in camels for cars. As modernity encroaches on their cultural and religious traditions, the Lord is making a way for gospel proclamation and church planting.
Only a handful of known believers exist among the Southern Arab Tribes. Long-term, sustainable church planting work in our country requires a tent-making approach. Even as we work our jobs and go about our days, we boldly share the gospel of Christ with friends and strangers alike. Some choose to read and study the Bible with us, and some of those, we pray, will place their faith in Jesus, joining with a local body of believers who will be the light of Christ to their own people.

Gifts toward specific efforts show us what you are excited about. Occasionally, we may redeploy gifts as we follow God's leading with urgent opportunities or changing international contexts. Any gifts received beyond the goal go toward a similar project or our team support.
Exploratory Evangelism Trips
Southern Arabian tribesmen are scattered across a large area and in remote villages. Your gift will enable us to take trips to these remote areas to make connections and share the good news.
Continued Team Training
Our growing missionary team needs more team training and continued education for greater effectiveness in reaching the Southern Arab tribes. We’re grateful that the Lottie Moon Christmas Offering covers our basic language skills, but more is needed to truly be gospel-fluent. Your gift will enable team members to have next-level language development as well as other missiological instruction.
Increased Access to Remote Tribes
Many of the Southern Arab Tribes live in remote communities that are hard to access in many ways —socially, logistically, and spiritually. Your gift will establish a service project which will give our team greater access to these places. You can open the doors to off-the-beaten-path places, helping us serve the Southern Arab Tribes by meeting physical needs and proclaiming the gospel of our Savior.
Social Media Campaign
Estimates indicate that more than 90% of people on the Arabian Peninsula use social media. That reality offers us an exciting opportunity to use media to send out ads among our people, targeting those who are searching for Truth or who already believe but are isolated. Your gift will fund the media campaign so that we can find these seekers and, Lord willing, lead them to become disciples of Christ and gather into a healthy church.
The goal represents the cost of our team’s ministry activities for this calendar year. The Cooperative
Program and Lottie Moon Christmas Offering® (LMCO) fully fund our living expenses. The goal amount resets
every January 1st. All gifts completed through this form are directed to our team’s ministry strategy.
