Experience the energy, beauty, and spiritual need of one of Asia’s most vibrant cities. Bangkok is a bustling metropolis known for its rich culture, incredible food, ornate temples, and warm hospitality. Yet behind the bright lights and world-famous attractions, millions have never heard a clear presentation of the Gospel. Traditional religious beliefs shape much of daily life, and many people are still searching for true hope, purpose, and a personal relationship with God.
During the last weekend of September, volunteers will participate in outreach at the International Sign Language Day Festival, where Deaf people from across Thailand and neighboring countries gather to celebrate language, community, and culture. Bangkok is home to an estimated 150,000 Deaf people, making it one of the largest Deaf populations in the region. Many Deaf individuals face barriers to education, community engagement, and access to Christian resources in a language they fully understand. As a result, a significant number have had little opportunity to encounter the Gospel in a meaningful and accessible way.
This trip offers a unique opportunity to build friendships, engage with Deaf individuals and families, learn about Deaf culture, and share the love and hope of Jesus. Whether you are fluent in sign language or simply have a heart to serve, you can be part of bringing the Gospel to a community that remains greatly underreached.
