Jobin Ezekiel, the assistant for Nasara Baptist Church in Zaria, Nigeria, reads his Bible. Ezekiel shared about the church’s history. Nasara is the only registered church in Zaria and was burned in an arson attack in 1987 and 1992. The church refers to itself as “the church that refuse to die.” Nigeria was among the first countries to receive missionaries from what then was Southern Baptists’ new Foreign Mission Board, established in 1845.
