Members of Deir-Mimas Baptist Church pray during a worship Sunday service. The Lebanese area of Deir-Mimas was hit hard during the 2006 Lebanon War between Hezbollah and Israel. Many members of the church left the area that sits on the border with Israel and took the dangerous drive two hours north to Beirut, Lebanon. Once they arrived, they stayed in the Baptist seminary or Baptist school for three to four weeks before returning to their homes.
