Eternal Peace Primary Care Clinic

Promote biblical teaching, preaching, and healing at a primary care clinic in Southeast Asia to reach spiritually-dry, yet fertile farm communities.
Local Baptist pastors and lay leaders and long-term workers have a burden to reach a community that is without an evangelical witness using health strategies. Poor health-education practices and substandard access to health care in Starfruit Village led them to this low-income community. By establishing a primary care clinic (Southeast Asia’s version of “doc in a box”), pastors, health professionals, and laypeople plan to reach many farming villages through holistic ministry. In addition to providing low-cost medical care, through God’s blessing, we received approval for the national insurance program, which enables us to assist even more impoverished patients. Your gift will help the medical staff and the chaplain team provide mercy ministries, serving all patients with the love of Christ and doing follow-up home visits with new believers and patients who want to know more about the gospel.

Sixty years ago in a nearby city, medical missionaries founded a clinic that became a hospital. This ministry assisted in planting more than 60 Baptist churches. Through the Eternal Peace Clinic–a partnership between the Baptist Hospital Foundation, the local Baptist association, and you–we can press beyond what has been done to the edges of lostness in rural areas that remain untouched by the gospel. This project has already ignited a passion among many traditional church members to do greater works (John 14:12). The focus is to emulate Jesus’s ministry as he was teaching, preaching the gospel and healing diseases (Matthew 4:23). Give today to support the Eternal Peace Clinic, opening doors for the gospel among people who have never heard the good news of Christ!

Location

Asian Pacific Rim Peoples

From the skyscrapers of Hong Kong and vast plains of Mongolia to smoky rainforests hiding winding rivers edged by golden sands, the natural beauty and long history of these Asia-Pacific Rim countries testify to God’s creative hand. This vast region houses four of the most populous global cities, as well as the country with the world's largest nominal population of Muslims.

Spirituality swirls through cities and countryside like the smoke from temple incense sticks. Buddhists, Muslims, Hindus, animists, Daoists and ancestor worshipers live here, comprising 851 unreached people groups who have never heard that freedom is found in Christ. Pray for divine appointments for Christian workers to share that Jesus is the way to peace with God and eternal life. Ask God to glorify His name among the peoples of the Asian Pacific Rim Peoples affinity.
