Alessia is the wife of a Palestinian immigrant. Growing up in a country where Christianity is the dominant worldview, she mentally affirms the claims of the gospel and the teachings of Jesus. Upon finding out that a believing friend’s parents didn’t have strong faith, Alessia then asked the believer, “So, how did you become a believer?” After hearing his story and the claims of the gospel, she sheepishly replied, “I am like you were before you became a believer: mentally affirming the gospel but not living it out.” Pray that Alessia will hear the voice of her Creator calling her into relationship. Ask that she will open the door of her heart to Him (Revelation 3:20) and that she will then lead her husband into a saving relationship with the Prince of Peace, as well.
