(van-COO-ver) – Metro Vancouver, British Columbia, in southwestern Canada is one of the least-Christian megacities in all of North America (lower than New York City, Boston, Seattle, and San Francisco.) Vancouver is very diverse and home to 2.7 million people, 42% of whom are immigrants. The largest group of Sikhs outside of India live in Vancouver. About 30,000 ethnic Chinese will move there this year. One-third of traditionally Christian Canadians have left the faith in the past 20 years. All segments of this beautiful, diverse city need to be engaged with the good news of Jesus with the goal of starting healthy, multiplying churches.
