Theological Education in Tanzania

“A local pastor serves in leading Theological Education by Extension (TEE) centers,” writes the Theological Education Team. “He rides with us to the Olkung’wado TEE center each week, where we work with pastors and church leaders. Another pastor then carries him 45 minutes on a motorcycle to a second center (Kandashe) that meets further up in the hills. They endure dust, rain, and rough roads to help lead this TEE group every week. Recently, it was raining and muddy as they traveled, and they took a spill on the motorcycle. They both hurt their legs, but they never complained. These pastors are serving graciously each week because of their love for Christ. Pray and ask God to raise up more servant leaders to minister in this harvest field, men and women who desire to make Jesus known and who will continuously abide and follow God’s leading to the ends of the earth. ‘But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth’ (Acts 1:8 ESV).”
