Two women sat on a park bench as their children played, one wearing a hijab (head covering) and one wearing a niqab (veil with only the eyes visible). The two friends, Rashida and Soumaya, were soon greeted by another mother at the park who was a believer. The three women spent the next two hours in a spiritual discussion. The believer listened as the two women shared their beliefs with her and tried to convince her to say the Shahada (the Islamic declaration of faith). The believer explained why she couldn't say that and began to share the gospel of Jesus Christ with her new friends. Rashida poured the believer a glass of mint tea and interjected with opinions of her own. Soumaya lifted her niqab to drink her tea and began quoting the Quran again. Both women rejected the gospel but, after more discussion, shared with the believer that they understood for the first time what it is that Christians really believe. Pray for salvation for these two women and millions like them whose minds the evil one has blinded "to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ" (2 Corinthians 4:4 ESV). He is able!
(OO-tar pra-DESH) - Pray that the Lord will open doors for believers to enter into several districts in West Uttar Pradesh where the gospel needs to be shared. Pray that whatever spiritual strongholds or hostility might be present in those places will be removed and that believers will be able to find creative ways to engage people.
(PEH-dee) - Warm, inviting, uplifting, hopeful. The crimson red color of the fleece blankets spoke as tenderly and strongly as the blankets themselves. Missionary Daniel and Sky Scott's African partner, Gladys, felt the Lord asking her to prepare food baskets for 20 needy widows in her area. Along with the food, a red blanket would be given to each widow to help ward off the winter wind and also be a tangible reminder that they were covered in the blood of Jesus. The women came together for worship before they carted their bags of meal, potatoes, sugar, canned fish, and tea home in rusty wheelbarrows, their red blankets tied as capes around their shoulders, a stark contrast to the brown landscape. "Lord, we pray for these 20 widows. May they put their hope in You alone, Jesus. May they surrender any ties they may still have to ancestor veneration. Teach them to pray, night and day, in a way that honors You. Convict them of areas in their life where they may be living for pleasure. Holy Spirit, help them learn to control their tongues from idle talk and devote themselves to helping others and doing good (1 Timothy 5:3-16). May these widows know Your presence and protection."

The Panama Mobilization Team writes: "Give thanks to the Lord that we saw 11 people begin a personal relationship with Jesus through a ministry outreach during the month of May! Also, please pray for all the teenage missionary kids (MKs) in the Americas as they head to teen camp in South America this month. Lift up the speakers as they teach the MKs, and pray for these teenagers to be attentive and to hear what the Lord would have them to hear."
Hana, a young North African woman in the City of Broken Colors, has been meeting off and on with believers for years. She continues to be interested in spiritual topics, but she relies on her feelings and on what others have told her about God rather than seeking for answers in her own religious book or in the Bible. Pray that Hana will see the need to investigate for herself and that she will not give up until she finds the truth. Ask God to reveal Himself to her clearly, and pray that she will feel the urgency to learn more about the salvation and life that Jesus offers to her.
(mah-LONG) - Give thanks to God for the eight Filipino young people who served among the Malong this summer! They returned after 25 days with excitement, not fear. They said over and over how friendly and open the Malong communities were to their presence and how they want to mobilize more young people to serve in those communities in the future. Pray that God will use their time this summer to call more fulltime cross-cultural workers to live among the Malong and be a light for Christ. The young people saw a difference in the people as they shared stories and sang songs about faith. Pray that through times of follow-up, there will be a deeper understanding of the truths that were shared by this group of young people.

(chee-ang MY) - Baptist representatives write: "We have been very blessed to welcome new teammates and to send out old teammates as they follow the Lord's direction. This has left our team in a period of transition. Our new teammates are learning a new culture, new language, and new ministry responsibilities. Their children are also learning as they adapt to going to school overseas. There have been many, many blessings, but there have also been challenges. Please pray for language learning sessions, for trainings, and for these new families as they adjust to overseas life. Pray that we will all learn and adapt quickly. Pray that we'll form deep relationships with our neighbors, fellow believers, and the lost all around us. Please pray for our leadership, that they will be given godly wisdom for how to lead these new teammates. Please pray for our team to be unified in purpose, glorifying Christ together in all that we do. Also, please pray for our old teammates as they obediently follow God's call to new ministries and new opportunities. We are excited for all that God has prepared and are thankful for your prayers."

Please pray for Central Asian believers who have fallen away from regular church attendance and obedient lifestyles. Many still call themselves "Christians" but have experienced disappointments or hurt feelings in the church. Instead of resolving these hard matters according to the Bible, they prefer to cut people off and isolate themselves. Pray that the Lord will convict them about the importance of the church and obedience to Christ. Pray that they will repent and be restored.

Pray 1 Peter 5:2-3 (ESV) over pastors in Bangladesh: "Shepherd the flock of God that is among you, exercising oversight, not under compulsion, but willingly, as God would have you; not for shameful gain, but eagerly; not domineering over those in your charge, but being examples to the flock." Ask that pastors will be willing to train up younger leaders and give them opportunities to serve and grow. It is sometimes difficult for pastors to give up leadership roles, so ask that they will see the need to train up a new generation and enable the church to grow exponentially.
Jesus counted His followers as righteous when He bore their sins, yet centuries after His death and resurrection, the Eastern Xiangxi Miao still try to pay the price themselves. They worship Pan Hu, a dragon dog god, who they believe gave birth to their race. They offer sacrifices and pray to gods, searching for what only Jesus can offer. Pray that their eyes will be opened to the glorious truth of the gospel and that their hearts will be freed from the chains that hold them down. Pray that as they are set free, they will carry this good news of salvation to the next family, house, village, and mountain.

The Zhuang are considered the largest ethnic minority group in China. They live and work alongside many other groups, yet they maintain their own distinct dialect and cultural traditions. Although the gospel is available in some areas, many Zhuang communities remain unreached. Their beliefs are deeply rooted in traditional folk practices, and there is a very limited evangelical presence among them. Pray that God will allow these unreached communities to be reached with the message of the gospel through believers from other cultures. Ask that the Zhuang people will have open hearts to hear and understand the truth of Jesus Christ -- His death and resurrection for the sins of all people -- and that they will come to believe that He alone is the way of salvation.
