The Uganda Baptist Seminary Team writes: "We are incredibly thankful for an amazing team of Ugandan partners who worked together to continue the running of Uganda Baptist Seminary while our missionaries, the Sheltons and the Lockharts, were away for several months! We are so thankful for them and praise God for the unity of vision and mission in the team. We are thankful for the relationships we are able to make over time in our relational culture, which helps us to work together effectively in the task at hand. Would you pray for both our missionaries and our Ugandan staff who work together for a common purpose to equip Ugandan church leaders in sharing the gospel effectively? Would you pray for us as we each play a role in a school setting? Would you pray that we will impact the leaders of churches across east Africa to go far with the message of the gospel?"http://ugandabaptistseminary.org/
Hanan is a young Muslim wife who lives in a big city with her husband and child. Recently, her neighbor Beti, who is a believer, began sharing Bible stories with her. Hanan respects Beti because she's an older woman who has shown love to Hanan and her child. Whenever Hanan has concerns, she shares them with Beti, who listens and prays for her. Hanan really enjoys all the Bible stories Beti shares and wants to learn more about God. She believes that Jesus is a prophet, but she wants to please God by reading and studying the Quran, Islam's holy book. One night, Hanan saw a dark figure outside her window, and she believes it was Satan. She fears that Satan wants to harm her and her family, so she told Beti about it. Since then, Beti and her believing friend have been praying for Hanan, believing that it's spiritual warfare over Hanan's soul. Please pray for Hanan. As she fasts and prays during the Islamic month of Ramadan, ask that Jesus will reveal Himself as her Savior and God and that she will find salvation through faith in Him. Pray that Beti will continue to share faithfully with Hanan.
Amy recently called a believing friend and told her friend that God was calling her to share the good news with her family and friends on the other side of the city. This had been a burden on her heart for some time. She asked if her friend could give her a ride and be a moral support for her. Before leaving, these two women prayed for each friend and family member they would see that day. Amy boldly shared her faith during her visit. A family member said, "You would be very happy as a Muslim if you would allow Islam to change your heart." Amy quickly responded, "No! Islam has never made me happy. You are not happy, I know! Jesus has brought me true happiness and peace. I want to tell you how He has changed my life." Amy shared her testimony and spoke about the love of Christ with boldness and with confidence. Please pray for her family and friends. Ask that she will have more opportunities to share with them. Above all, pray for their salvation.
While Mandarin Chinese is the written and spoken heart language of the Hui, the spiritual heart language of the Hui is a mixture of Arabic and Persian. Pray for this Muslim people group to hear the gospel in a clear way and to follow Jesus wholeheartedly. Pray Psalm 19:14 for the Hui. "May these words of my mouth and this meditation of my heart be pleasing in your sight, LORD, my Rock and my Redeemer" (Psalm 19:14).http://pray4hui.com/ email@example.com

(li-LONG-way) - The Malawi Team asks: "Please pray for our team to remember to abide in Christ intentionally each and every day. Many times in the life and ministry of a missionary, we can get caught up in routines, and the day-to-day events can absorb our attention and rob us of opportunities to abide as we serve. Please pray that we will remember that our primary role as Christians is to be with Christ and that apart from Him, we can do nothing."email@example.com
Worker Maya Janson shares: "There have been various highs and lows, but the greatest times recently have revolved around spiritual conversations with my West African language tutor, Amy. She asked me if I would be interested in making sign videos with her; I would explain Christianity, and she would explain Islam in the local sign language. Please pray for wisdom in knowing how to respond, and if it proceeds, pray for wisdom in knowing how to communicate the truth clearly."
Some Southeast Asian believers are studying God's Word, desiring to know what the Bible says about dating and marriage. May they see the beauty and wisdom in His design of creating male and female. (cry-MEE-un tuh-TARS) - When war broke out in Ukraine, Rick and Zoe hoped to stay. But when their preschooler started showing signs of anxiety due to the frequent air-raid sirens, Zoe took him across the border for a few weeks. As the time approached for their baby to be born, the young family desperately wanted to be together, so Zoe took her son back to Ukraine. For nearly a year, they tried to make life work in that country, but the toll of months of fighting and power outages and the fear of major offensives to come pushed them to the end of their rope. In mid-February, they crossed the border, leaving their homeland behind to become refugees. They know no one in the country they hope to settle in. They only know that for now, there's no life for them in Ukraine. Pray that Rick and Zoe's hearts will be tender to call out to God in their distress and that the gospel message they've heard will penetrate their hearts and lead to repentance and salvation. Pray that God will send believers in their new country to help them adjust to life in that new place and faithfully proclaim the gospel to email@example.com
(bohj-POOR-ee) - As churches multiply into new areas, church planters need to help appoint pastors so those new churches with be healthy and self-sustaining. Pray for those who are planting churches in areas where the Bhojpuri people live. Ask God to give them wisdom to see who among the church members is qualified to become the pastor. Pray that they'll be diligent to train up the new pastor in how to shepherd the flock and study and teach the Bible. Pray that they'll have wisdom in the timing of entrusting leadership of the church to the local body and be ready to relinquish the tithes and offerings to the new pastor as they decrease their own involvement. In one Bhojpuri church, a young man named Vinay has been entrusted with the responsibility of leading his local church. As the current pastor prepares to step aside, Vinay has some hesitancies. Please lift him up as he learns what it means to lead a church well. Pray for all the new pastors among the Bhojpuri, asking that they'll rely on the Holy Spirit and abide in Jesus. Ask God to strengthen these pastors to lead their churches to be healthy and self-sustaining and also to multiply.
(ab-i-JAHN) - "Pray for local churches to disciple believers," asks the Abidjan Urban Team. "Pray for us as we come alongside these churches, helping to develop and share strategies for discipleship. Give thanks to the Lord for new team members! They will be arriving this month. Pray for this family as they adjust to life here and learn a new language and culture."
