These pathways are ideal for individuals, families, and professionals who sense God’s leading to serve beyond short-term trips while remaining rooted in their current season of life.

Journeyman

Serve alongside long-term IMB missionaries for two years, sharing the gospel and helping plant churches in the world’s least-reached places. Field Support

Your professional skills in medicine, finance, communications, and more can directly enable gospel work around the world. Field Support Missionaries serve fully funded on IMB teams, keeping missionaries focused on the mission.

Missionary Explorer

Some people groups have never once heard the gospel. Missionary Explorers are fully funded 2-year missionaries who go to the most remote, unreached places on earth to change that. No degree required, just a willingness to go.

Give your first years of retirement to the nations. Masters 55+ is a fully funded pathway for adults 55 and older to serve on IMB church planting teams, bringing a lifetime of skills and experience to the mission field.
