Education Requirements
Team Associates are non-IMB funded missionaries who are active members of a missionary team. If they are engaged full time in the missionary task, they are often a pastor, a retiree, or also connected to another ministry.
Each trip has its own list of requirements and qualifications.
Team Members are missionaries who are fully funded by the IMB, and, as IMB employees, receive full benefits and services.
Field Support personnel are professionals paid by the IMB to provide critical services on behalf of the IMB in an international location. They are an active member of a local missionary team, and are engaged full time in a specific business service and part time in the missionary task.
Team Members are missionaries who are fully funded by the IMB, and, as IMB employees, receive full benefits and services. Seminary is required for Team Members who are serving long-term (3+ year) commitments.
