Reaching China’s Muslims

Although China and Islam aren’t generally associated, Muslims in China account for twenty-two million people*—that’s about equal to the population of Beijing.

Will you pray that Chinese Muslims will encounter Jesus? Pray that they will learn about his love and sufficient sacrifice and choose to follow him.

There are ten Muslim unreached people groups in China, all of which have their own culture and customs. As expected, there are many barriers to having a gospel conversation with them. The most daunting obstacle is the stigma attached to a Chinese Muslim when they become followers of Jesus. For certain ethnic groups, such as the Hui, the community perceives leaving Islam as leaving your family and ethnicity.

Will you pray that Chinese Muslims will encounter Jesus? Pray that they will learn about his love and sufficient sacrifice and choose to follow him.
